Backup catcher Miguel Ojeda and the Texas Rangers agreed Thursday to a $430,000, one-year contract. Ojeda, who was eligible for salary arbitration, is guaranteed $300,000 under the deal. He was acquired from Colorado on July 30, came up to the Rangers on Sept. 3 and hit .308 (4-for-13) with four RBIs. Ojeda batted .230 for the Rockies with two homers and 11 RBIs in 74 at-bats.
