Rangers call up Masset, Arias (AP)
The Texas Rangers recalled right-hander Nick Masset and infielder Joaquin Arias from Triple-A Oklahoma on Tuesday, bringing their total September callups to five players. Arias, a top prospect at shortstop, came to the Rangers with Alfonso Soriano in a trade with the New York Yankees for Alex Rodriguez before the 2004 season.
